代表あいさつ
人間は、生を享け、成長し、成人となり、平等に歳をとり、最期を迎えるのが通常です。この一生涯を通し、健康で安心した生活を送りたいという思いは、未開社会の国で生まれようと、文明社会の国であろうと、時代を超えた人間共通の願いです。急速に進んでいる超高齢社会において、平均寿命と共に健康寿命も伸び、高齢者の社会参加も進み、人生１００年時代を迎えようとしている現在、そしてそれに伴う経済システムの変革と、現代の情報社会（Society 4.0）から超スマート社会（Society 5.0）へと社会システムの革新が進む中、ヘルスケアの更なる充実は喫緊の社会的課題です。当NPO法人は、このような変革時代を背景に2014年3月に設立し、医工学技術を基盤とした先進ヘルスケア科学の研究開発を推進しています。
It is natural that human beings enjoy life, grow, age equally and die eventually. Throughout this lifetime, desire to live a healthy and secure life is common human wishes that transcend time even if they were born in a country with a primitive or a civilized society. In a rapidly advancing super-aging society in Japan, nowadays healthy life expectancy is increasing along with average life expectancy, desirably social participation of the elderly is progressing, and we are now about to enter the era of 100-year lifespans. Taking the changes in the economic system together with innovative progresses from current information society, Society 4.0, to future super smart society, Society 5.0, into consideration, further enhancement of healthcare technology is an urgent social issue. Against the backdrop of this era of changes, the NPO Research Institute of Life Benefit has been established in March 2014, promoting advanced healthcare science based on the biomedical engineering technology.
